Green screen and Light play

Based on the skills we learned in AS, now in A2 we are pushing ourselves further. With the use of a Green screen we asked our classmate to sing along to a song while we recorded her. We set up hand lights on tripods with blue gel on them, to achieve some interesting lighting. Two lights were set up one at each shoulder to block out any shadows forming on the green screen.

After that another light was used (with the blue gel) and to achieve a flicker light effect we used a plastic cover and moved it up and down during the whole shot. After the video was shot, we then imported it into Adobe After effects where we keyed the green screen out, removed remaining shadows and matched the model to a background with similar colours. After that was over the video was exported and imported into Adobe Premiere where the video was lip synced with the actual audio of the song minor colour grading was done.
