Editing

Once I finally finished filming, I moved onto editing. I firstly imported all the files to Premiere Pro CS6 and then viewed all footage recorded, mixing and matching whatever clip suit best. I did not follow my storyboard to the dot as due to some circumstances I had to alter a few scenes which weren't executed the way I had planned too. Moreover I used 'Warp Stabilizer' on some footage where I felt like there were a few shakes to smooth everything out. Moreover I cut the footage into small clips and removed some in the middle to create a flickering effect which added more dimension to the footage.

In situations where I lacked knowledge on how to produce them such as quick whip transition or mirror effect I turned to YouTube tutorials to help me learn which advanced my already existing skill set. I used Adobe After effects CS6 to create echoes of the boy to go with the beat of the music and just overall make it young and fresh. I also learned how to mirror VIA YouTube as when learning about music videos and how to make it, one of the most common effect was the mirroring effect.

Furthermore I used Brightness and contrast as well as the Three way colour corrector to edit the footage and make the colours come to life as well as make a bigger impact. I also used split screen where I changed the position of the footages equally to create that two point of view effect to convey the story.

Once the video was done I edited the digipak on Photoshop CS6. I took templates from google and then graphic designed the CD, back and front cover as well as the inside cover. I manipulated the images a little making it more contemporary and on brand. As for the website I designed a special cover for the song, making it very mysterious and alluring, all which was done on photoshop.

As for the website, I had a special photoshoot for the images for the website. I touched up the colours a little, creating a sense of aesthetic and brand and uploaded them on the site.
